Family Program Course Fees 2012

Homestay Placement Fee

Family of 2-3 people (1 parent and 1 child or 2 children): $286.00
Option - Family Homestay Support Fee: $110.00 per week

*Support includes: Making appointment with a hospital when someone gets sick, transfer between host family and hospital (for the first examination), assisting in communication with Japan in case of emergency, bookings for hotels and tours, etc.

Homestay Fee

Family of 2-3 people (1 parent and 1 child or 2 children): $215.00 per week/person

Airport Transfer Fee

Family of 2-3 people (1 parent and 1 child or 2 children):
From Brisbane: $135.00 one way /$270.00 return
From Gold Coast: $290.00 one way/$580.00 return

Course Fees at ICQA

(Children over 15 years of age)

Enrolment Fee: $200.00/person
Tuition Fee: $310.00 per week/person (Full Time-GEI/25 hours per week)
$290.00 per week/person (Full Time-GEC/20 hours per week)
Resources Fee: $10.00 per week/person
Textbook Rental Deposit: $50.00 (Fully refundable when the textbook is returned)

Local Primary School/Child Care Center Program

Placement Fee: $1,100.00 per child (If a second child is to be placed to the same primary school or child care center as the one for the first child, additional placement fee $330.00 per child applies)

Notes

  1. Tuition fee and registration fee for primary school or child care center are to be paid by clients directly to Education Queensland International (or primary school in case of private school) or child care center.
  2. Primary school will basically be public, but could be private.
  3. We will try to find a host family who has child or children of similar age to client's child or children, but it could be a host family without children.
  4. Parents are supposed to drop off their children at primary school or child care center in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon.
  5. Our acceptance of the application will be confirmed after we have found out primary school or child care center and host family.
  6. If mother or father does not take English Course at ICQA, we ask the client to pay $220.00 for registration fee.

Cancellation Policy for Family Program

  • Enrolment Fee/Registration Fee – Non refundable under any circumstances
  • Cancellation charge on School/Child Care Placement Fee
  • Cancellation less than 28 days before the agreed course commencement date – 100% of the Placement Fee
  • Cancellation 28 days or more before the agreed course commencement date – 40% of the Placement Fee
  • Other provisions in our general Refund Policy apply where relevant.
