Package Includes

  • General English (17 weeks)
    • If the student sits pre-placement test before enrolment, we will review the result of the test and decide if we can recommend the student 8 week or 12 week package, and then advise you of our recommendation. Pre-placement test is available on your request.
  • Internship Placement (Students are not able to select or choose internship place.)
  • Pre-Internship Support (Applying for Tax File Number, Opening Bank Account, Booking Air Ticket/Accomodation, Resume Preparation, etc.)
  • Continual counselling while students are studying at ICQA.

Package does NOT Include

  • Transport to the hotel.
  • Accommodation and other living expenses at the internship location ($150.00 to $200.00/week)

Things student need to prepare

  • Tax File Number
  • Australian Bank Account
  • Intermediate Level of English (IELTS 4.0 - 4.5 equivalent before leaving home country and IELTS 5.0 at the end of the English course at ICQA. If the student fails to achieve IELTS 5.0 equivalent, we may not be able to find placement).
  • Hospitality Attire (Black slacks, black shoes, white shirt, etc)
  • Medicines (Students are recommended to bring their own medicines from home)

Scheadule Sample
1 The candidate studies English for 17 weeks at ICQA to improve his/her English.
2 Internship placement process will start soon after the candidate starts studying in the intermediate class. (Approximately 2 months prior to the internship commencement date)
3 The candidate will prepare his/her own resume. An ICQA staff member will help the candiate to refine it.
4 The resume needs to be submitted when there is a position available at a hotel.
5 An interview session will be arranged upon request.
6 A commencement date (scheadule) is determined once the candidate is sucessfully accepted (Telephone interview might be arranged upon request from the hotel.)
7 Orientation materials of the programme will arrive.
8 Transport to the internship location and accommodation there are to be arranged by the candidate with support from ICQA staff members.
9 Brief orientation is arranged prior to his/her departure.
10 The candidate will depart to the interhsip location.
11 The candidate will join an orientation at the hosting hotel and start the internship.
